Meta REJECTED Our Common-Sense Ad

We’ve always believed common-sense truths should be welcomed in public discourse, especially when it comes to defending the rule of law, protecting our families, and safeguarding the values that make Texas, Texas. But recently Meta chose to silence the truth, rejecting our advertisement that simply stated: “Sharia law has no place in Texas.”
Our ad wasn’t hateful. It wasn’t violent. It wasn’t propaganda. It was a straightforward statement reflecting what every Texan of every background knows to be true: Texas is a state governed by the Constitution and the laws passed by our elected representatives. Yet, when we tried to share this message with fellow Texans on Meta’s platforms, the ad was censored for going against Meta’s ad standards (whatever that means).
This decision by Meta raises serious questions about Big Tech’s role in shaping the public square. If a simple advertisement with a fact like this can be suppressed, what else can’t be said? Who decides what’s acceptable? And more importantly, why are mainstream platforms still insisting on policing political speech from grassroots conservative groups while giving free rein to radical narratives from the Left?
The irony isn’t lost on us. Meta claims to support free expression and open debate, yet they’ve chosen to muzzle a pro-Texas message. They claim neutrality, but their actions tell a different story: tech giants have become gatekeepers, deciding which ideas are fit for public consumption and which are not. They told the public last year they had changed their policies to protect free speech, but clearly they have not.
This isn’t just about one advertisement. It’s about defending the very principles which hold our society together:
The rule of law: Texans know only Texas law and U.S. law govern here, not extreme religious codes from other nations.
Free speech: Grassroot conservative voices must not be silenced by powerful corporations with their own political agendas.
Security and sovereignty: The health and safety of our families depend on clear boundaries in law and policy.
Over the past year, strong leaders in our state have echoed what every Texan knows to be true. Governor Greg Abbott has stated Sharia law and “Sharia cities” are not welcome in Texas, reinforcing existing state law that prohibits foreign legal codes from being enforced in Texas courts.
We will not be intimidated into silence. Our mission is to empower families, protect children, and uphold the core American values that make Texas strong. When powerful platforms try to censor conservative speech, we will take it as an invitation to intensify our efforts.
For the future of Texas, for the sake of our children’s safety and freedom, and for the preservation of the rule of law, we will keep speaking the truth, no matter who tries to stop us.
