White House Declared Easter The “Transgender Day of Visibility”

Easter Sunday is the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is estimated that about 60% of Americans claim that they are Christians. As Christians we believe that God is a perfect God and that the Bible is his word. God is incapable of making mistakes therefore transgenderism would be a direct attack against God’s creation yet the Biden administration chose to acknowledge the “Transgender Day of Visibility” on March 31st, Easter Sunday.

President Biden claims to be a devout Catholic yet he has openly disagreed with the Church in order to appease his progressive voter base. Biden, in order to maintain his appearance as a Christian put out a statement saying, “Jill and I send our warmest wishes to Christians around the world celebrating Easter Sunday. Easter reminds us of the power of hope and the promise of Christ’s Resurrection. As we gather with loved ones, we remember Jesus’ sacrifice. We pray for one another and cherish the blessing of the dawn of new possibilities. And with wars and conflict taking a toll on innocent lives around the world, we renew our commitment to work for peace, security, and dignity for all people. From our family to yours, happy Easter and may God bless you.” This statement standing alone is a fantastic and true statement yet Biden’s actions don’t back up his speech.

The White House released a statement to transgenders saying, “You are understood.  You belong.  You are America, and my entire Administration and I have your back. NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.  I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”

These two statements are a direct contradiction and an insult to Christianity. Christ taught us to put our trust and faith in Him and Him alone and He will provide for us and our families and the transgender movement is directly anti-family. This move to acknowledge the “Transgender Day of Visibility” is a clear attempt to take the light away from Jesus. Nothing should ever be honored on any Christian holiday besides Christ.

This move by the Biden administration should be looked down upon by every Christian not only in Texas, but in America as a whole. Nobody who disrespects our Lord and Savior should be in a position of power let alone be the one leading our country. The true colors of this administration are showing and we must put a spotlight on it. We will always put Christ at the forefront of what we say and do and expect our elected officials to do so as well.
