We didn’t back down. We built a stronger Texas for families.
As 2025 has closed, Texas Family Project (TFP) looks back on a year of fierce advocacy, meaningful victories, and grassroots mobilization on behalf of Texas families. Our mission, defending parental rights, protecting children’s innocence, and restoring common-sense values in public policy, guided every effort across the Lone Star State.
Standing for Parental Rights and Family Authority
From the start of the year, TFP emphasized the need for parents to be the primary decision-makers in their children’s lives. We continued to push issues centered on empowering families, promoting parental authority in education, and defending children from sexualization and ideological indoctrination.
We used every tool available, from website content to social media outreach on platforms like X and Facebook, to keep Texans informed and engaged.
Engagement at the State Capitol
2025 was defined by one of the most consequential legislative sessions in recent memory. TFP was on the ground in Austin meeting with lawmakers, testifying on key bills, and mobilizing activists to protect children and uphold family values.
While the legislature tackled a wide range of issues this year, there were several highlights aligned closely with TFP’s mission.
Parental Rights Momentum: Texas voters passed Proposition 15, a constitutional amendment affirming that parents have the fundamental right to make decisions regarding the upbringing and care of their children. This win reflects the core of what we advocate for every day.
Educational Priorities: TFP continued to influence conversations around educational policy, urging lawmakers to keep curriculum free from indoctrination and ensure parents, not bureaucrats, guide what children learn.
Protecting Childhood Innocence
At the heart of everything TFP does is the belief that children deserve to grow up safe, innocent, and free from exploitation. This year, we made it a priority to shine a light on cultural trends and events that push contrary values.
We consistently used our platforms to alert parents about community events, controversial content targeting children, and activities happening in cities across Texas, all with the goal of protecting childhood innocence.
TFP also continued to educate the public on the importance of shielding children from explicit materials and harmful influences, consistent with our long-standing advocacy framework.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As the year ends, Texas Family Project remains committed to:
Holding elected officials accountable through legislative tracking and advocacy reporting.
Supporting policies that uplift and protect families, from parental rights measures to educational choice.
Organizing parents and citizens to ensure the family remains the foundational unit of Texas society.
TFP will continue to fight with boldness, faith, and resolve, because a stronger Texas begins in every Texas home.
