Tyler Pride Festival Update

The Tyler Pride Festival was one of the most disgusting public events we’ve seen in this state. Children were everywhere, and yet the content on display was nothing short of pornographic and blatantly anti-family.

Vendors were selling merchandise with phrases like “F*** them kids,” “Eat p***y, it’s organic,” and “Does conversion therapy work on bigots?” They were even selling sex toys. That’s not edgy or inclusive, that’s filth.

And it was happening in broad daylight, right in front of children.

Paintings of naked women were displayed for sale. Scantily dressed drag queens spun children around on stage like props in a show. To top it off, someone slapped a sticker on a child that read: “Lifetime Membership to the LGBTQ Community.”

This is the result of a society that has let radical activists push boundaries without consequences. This wasn’t about “love” or “pride.” It was about desensitizing children to sexual perversion, mocking decency, and tearing down the fabric of our communities.

Texas Family Project spoke with a judge who confirmed what we feared: law enforcement’s hands are tied until lawmakers do their jobs. There is no clear legal mechanism to shut this down. That’s not just a failure of the law, it’s a failure of leadership.

We elect Republicans in Texas to defend families, not to turn a blind eye while radical activists corrupt our kids in public parks. If they can’t stop this in conservative Tyler, what hope is there for woke Austin?

It’s past time for bold, unapologetic action. We need laws to criminalize exposing minors to this kind of filth. We need leaders who will fight—not just talk. No more half-measures. No more excuses.

The time to protect our children is now!

TFP is on the front lines for Texas families, as the Left continues waging their anti-family war, and will not back down.
