Many large corporations caved to the woke mob during June because of the now nationally recognized pride month. Almost all sports teams in some way showed their support of pride month except for the Texas Rangers, the most pro-family team in baseball. It's almost expected at this point that almost all major companies will participate but pride month has ended and one unexpected company, John Deere, has stayed up to date with their DEI initiatives. Robby Starbuck has taken the lead in exposing this company's woke initiatives.
The John Deere company has been around since 1837 when John Deere, a blacksmith, made a plow that changed the agriculture game. Since then, John Deere has been one of the leading companies on most agricultural needs and is most well known for their big green tractors. The majority of their business relies on farmers buying their products. The majority of farmers in America don’t support the woke agenda and want their products made in the best quality possible so that they will last which means they want the best person for the job, not someone making their products only because they are a certain gender or skin color.
John Deere has pushed one of the most woke company agendas out of any business in America. Some employees have even claimed that, "I’ve never worked at a company that values DEI more than John Deere." John Deere has also been a major sponsor for a lot of different pride events. Because of John Deere’s woke agenda, Robby Starbuck decided it was time to expose what this company is up to behind closed doors to their base. Starbuck has spoken to multiple employees of the company in order to find out what all John Deere does. He found an internal blog that the company promoted to their employees about gender, religion, culture, and race. After the continual exposing of John Deere’s practices, they issued a statement about what the company would do moving forward.
John Deere claims that they will no longer participate in pride festivals or pride events in general. They also claim that they will audit their company-mandated DEI training to ensure “socially motivated messaging” is removed. Pronoun use and diversity quotas will no longer be their priority and John Deere also claims it was never part of their policy. John Deere finished their statement by saying they will continue to listen to their customer base about what other changes need to be made to ensure their business is trusted.
This all goes to show that public pressure and public pushback work. Companies feel that they are able to push whatever woke agenda they wish because they don’t get pushback. Robby Starbuck set a huge example showing what public pushback does. Texas Family Project has used this method in order to get “child-friendly” drag shows shut down. If you are part of a company that pushes the woke narrative behind closed doors it’s time to expose it. Companies rely on the customer base being in the dark about their internal initiatives. Hopefully, John Deere really does change their initiatives and other agriculture companies follow.
