Action Alert: SB12 Heads to House Committee Hearing

SB 12 (Hughes) will Defend our Kids from the obscene drag shows that we have worked hard to cancel, expose, and enact age minimums at.

This bill has already passed the senate, and now needs to pass through the House. The first step in doing so is to move it out of the House State Affairs Committee.

The Committee meets on WEDNESDAY, MAY 10 at 8am in room JHR 140

How can you help the bill move?

  1. Show up to the Capitol to testify. Witness testimony is an important tool in passing a bill out of committee. Put together a verbal statement lasting no more than two minutes to convince committee members to support SB 12. Register for witness testimony ahead of time here.

  2. Can’t make it in person? Submit online testimony

  1. Call committee members
