Transgender Activists Take Over National Park

In a troubling display that speaks volumes about the direction our culture is heading, transgender activists have desecrated one of America’s most iconic natural wonders, Yosemite National Park, by hoisting a massive 55-foot by 35-foot transgender flag over the world-famous El Capitan. This wasn’t just a stunt; it was a calculated political statement designed to force-feed Americans a radical agenda under the guise of "inclusivity" and "progress."

The activists claimed being "trans is natural," attempting to justify their message by pointing to instances in the animal kingdom where gender variance occurs. But this comparison is deeply flawed. Animals do not undergo irreversible surgeries or hormone treatments. They do not think about “gender identity”. What occurs in nature is instinctual and built into their biology by God’s design. It is not an ideology, a trend, or a political statement. The human attempt to mirror these rare phenomena with permanent bodily alterations and synthetic identities is not a reflection of nature—it is a rejection of it!

God's Word is clear in Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” There is no ambiguity in God’s design. He does not make mistakes. Each person is fearfully and wonderfully made, and the rising tide of gender confusion does not reflect progress—it reflects brokenness.

This act of draping a political symbol over a national landmark is more than vandalism, it’s moral trespass. Our national parks are meant to be places of reflection, awe, and appreciation for the beauty of God’s creation. Turning them into stages for controversial social agendas not only defiles these sacred spaces, but sends a deeply confusing and harmful message to our children.

Transgenderism is not something we are born with, it is a concept being pushed by the media, educators, and celebrities. One must ask why so many Hollywood elites suddenly have transgender children. Is it a coincidence, or are these children being shaped by the ideologies of those desperate to stay relevant in woke culture? The answer is clear: this is not about biology, it’s about indoctrination.

The cost of this societal trend is tragically high. Studies show transgender-identifying youth have significantly higher rates of depression, anxiety, and suicide. Instead of addressing mental and emotional health, society is pushing children down a path of irreversible surgeries and hormone treatments. Rather than offering truth and healing, the culture is offering affirmation without accountability.

We must return to Biblical truth! We must teach our children that their identity is not found in the confusion of culture, but in the unchanging Word of God. Christians must speak boldly and lovingly against the lies of gender ideology and stand up for the truth that God made us male and female—with purpose, value, and dignity.

This act at Yosemite is a wake-up call. The line between respecting individuals and promoting dangerous ideologies has been crossed. It’s time for America to stand firm, protect our children, and restore respect for God’s creation, both in our bodies and in the sacred spaces of our nation!
