Pride Month Is Here

June is upon us, and with it comes what the left hails as “Pride Month”—an entire month dedicated to celebrating lifestyles and behaviors which not only defy biblical truth but also target our children. What was once promoted as a call for “tolerance” has now turned into a blatant cultural assault on morality, decency, and the traditional family.
Across our state and nation, so-called "pride festivals" are taking place, complete with parades, vulgar displays, and disturbing imagery. These events are not simply about adults gathering in private spaces. They are being held in our public parks, city centers, and in front of innocent children.
One such example occurred last weekend in McKinney, Texas. The Texas Family Project staff was on hand at this disturbing event, and it was deeply troubling.. Vendors were allowed to sell sexually explicit items, and grown men, dressed as hypersexualized caricatures of women, performed provocative dances in front of families and children. This is not “inclusion.” This is exploitation, perversion, and indoctrination. And it must be called out for what it is.
These festivals claim to be about “love,” “diversity,” and “freedom.” But what they really promote is a rejection of God’s design for humanity. Genesis makes it clear: Male and female He created them (Genesis 1:27). Marriage is between one man and one woman. Gender is not fluid. And children deserve to grow up in a society that protects their innocence, not one that parades depravity under rainbow banners.
The responsibility to speak truth in love and to protect our communities lies with faithful Christians, concerned parents, and patriots who are unashamed of the Gospel and unafraid to stand for what is right.
At Texas Family Project, we are committed to exposing these events for what they are. We are monitoring pride festivals across the state and urging families to remain vigilant. If you hear of a pride event happening in your town—especially one open to children—please let us know. Contact us at info@texasfamilyproject.com.
This is not about hate. This is about love! Love does not celebrate confusion or encourage sin. Love speaks boldly. Love protects.
The Church must rise up to courageously stand in the gap for our children, our communities, and our culture. Let’s pray for our state, expose wickedness where we find it, and remain steadfast in our mission: to uphold the values of faith, family, and freedom in Texas and beyond.
